Yin and Yang
Last Thursday was a big day! Just A Quilt? was born. I came home to find a pallet of books filling half of my garage (once again something to do with "quilting" has taken over even more of my sacred "man-space"). This was an exciting moment. Pictures were taken of me leaning on the boxes of books stacked neatly on the pallet. Pictures were taken of me opening the first box. Pictures were taken of my daughter buying the first two books. Truly an exciting night!
Then that strange feeling began to creep over me. It starts at the base of my spine until in works its way up and infiltrates the deep recesses of my brain. Last Thursday night it sprang forth as, "What are we going to do? There's a 1017 books sitting out there!" Is this panic?; fear?; logic? - I don't know.
Today, I end the sixth day since they arrived. I've sold 102 books. If I take some deep breathes and relax, I can feel good about it. Unfortunately, there are still those quiet moments when I see 915 books left instead of 102 books gone. I see them stacked in the coat closet, the formal living room and the dining room. "What have I done?" I wonder!
Take pity on me honorable blog reader. Buy a book! I need my coat closet back!

Dr. Dalen and Mr. Keys
